Private Pilot Rating

Earning a private pilot certificate is a great way to get into flying recreationally, and is the first step in training for an aviation career. Course material is focused on visual flying, aircraft systems and navigation, aviation meteorology, FAA regulations, and best practices that apply to all pilots.

- Allows you to fly most general aviation aircraft

- Day and night flying allowed

- Fly alone or with friends and family

Additionally, private pilots are allowed to use their flying abilities for travel incidental to their business, and with the return of bonus depreciation there has never been a better time to become an aircraft owner and free yourself from being restricted by airline schedules. Imagine going to a meeting with a customer several states away and being home in time for dinner!
